Hello, and welcome to the Internet.

Do you like comics? Buddy, you've come to the right place. Except not really. Not yet! Right now, all you've got is a meaningless introduction, padded out by a Crap Q & A Session.

Q: So what's the deal?

A: Well, my name is Tom, and I like comics a great deal. Coincidences of coincidences, I have a friend (also named Tom) and who also likes comics quite a bit. We read them together a lot, which is even more exciting than it imagines). Sometimes we even perform Comic Book Theatre, although that's become less regular after we launched into an unprepared private performance of Y: The Last Man #57. That was more nudity and bickering than either of us could stretch to.

Anyway.

We both needed a hobby that involved something other than reading comics and talking to each other about them. In the end, it was decided that reading comics and talking to the stinking, faceless Internet about them would be a much better way to spend our time.

Q: TWO TOMS?!?! Jesus Christmas, this is going to be confusing.

A: Nah, it'll be good. One is Tom B, the other is Tom W. If you get too mixed up, just take a break for a couple of minutes to settle yourself and everything will be rightly.

Q: 'En Garde, Comics'? That title seems vaguely familiar...

A: Well recognised. It's sort of stolen from Eugene Mirman's very funny comedy album titled 'En Garde, Society!' The original version would be a much better title for a blog, but then it'd be total plagiarism and we'd go to Internet jail.

Q: So, when are you twats going to actually talk about comics?

A: JEEZ, SOON, QUIT BUGGING US

Q: I love you.

A: I love you too.
